Job Description

Supports the UN Common Back Office's daily protocol, front-desk and administrative workflow for UN agencies in Ha Noi. Working with the Administrative Associate, the intern receives and routes service requests, maintains visitor and access records, assists meetings and logistics, updates databases and helps communicate operational information to office users.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Receive, record, route and track common-service requests through phone, email, the Service Delivery Platform and in-person contact
  • Register visitors and maintain timely security-list information
  • Support conference and meeting services and prepare daily GOUNH access data
  • Communicate operational information to GOUNH users and other teams through the Intranet and other channels
  • Maintain files and update the database
  • Provide protocol logistics, inventory, stationery and administrative support

Role Requirements

  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate programme, in the final year of a first university degree, recently graduated within one year, or enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese
  • Good command of MS Word and Excel
  • Database-software familiarity and data-entry skills

Desired Criteria

  • Familiarity with image or video processing
