Job Description
Provides financial and logistics support to UNDP's UPLIFT DC project for decommissioned combatants and communities in the Philippines. The assistant processes travel, payments and procurement actions, maintains project records and assets, coordinates suppliers and logistics, supports implementation, and facilitates operations knowledge sharing for the Peace and Stabilization Programme Team.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage project administrative, logistical and procurement systems
- Process travel, cash-advance liquidations, supplier payments and price quotations
- Maintain correspondence, calendars, transport requests, leave records and office-supply files
- Provide timely administrative and financial support to project activities
- Coordinate suppliers for delivery of goods and ensure use of long-term agreements
- Maintain asset inventory and prepare asset transfers to beneficiaries
- Perform assigned logistics tasks and organise operations training
- Synthesize lessons learned and contribute to knowledge networks and communities of practice
Role Requirements
- Secondary education, or a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field
- At least five years of administrative and procurement experience with secondary education or two years with a bachelor's degree
- At least two years of administrative or programme-support service experience
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal English and fluency in Filipino
Desired Criteria
- CIPS Level 2 certification
- Previous experience in UNDP or other UN entities
- Knowledge of dialects in Mindanao
- Familiarity with UN-system administrative and financial management of donor-financed projects
