Job Description

Supports UNDP's Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People senior management with strategic planning, project follow-up and coordination. The internship assists research, data consolidation, briefings, reporting and communications that strengthen organizational performance and partnerships while providing exposure to development cooperation, project management and operations in Palestine.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review and track strategic plans, work plans and programme initiatives
  • Conduct background research and prepare briefs and presentations for senior management
  • Support project implementation, progress monitoring and internal reporting
  • Draft internal communications materials and newsletters
  • Organize meetings and workshops and prepare agendas, minutes and action points

Role Requirements

  • Final-year bachelor's enrolment, master's enrolment, or graduation within the past year in International Relations, Development Studies, Political Science, Public Administration or equivalent
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office productivity tools
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proof of enrolment in health insurance

Desired Criteria

  • Prior experience in the occupied Palestinian territory or Middle East and North Africa region
  • Knowledge of other UN languages

  • Monthly stipend of NIS 3,523 under the UNDP internship policy
