Project Associate

UNDP seeks a national Project Associate to support project delivery in Kyiv. The role coordinates events, travel, procurement, recruitment support, work-plan monitoring and records management, reporting and partner communication. It requires secondary education and seven years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree and four years, plus fluent English and Ukrainian.

• Support day-to-day project implementation against work plans and expected results
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, missions, travel and project logistics
• Process requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and payments in Quantum
• Support procurement plans, service requests and long-term-agreement processes
• Maintain project trackers, schedules, contact databases and filing systems
• Collect implementation data and prepare progress updates and knowledge products

• Secondary education or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, social sciences or a related discipline
• Seven years of administration or project-management-assistance experience with secondary education or four years with a bachelor’s degree
• Highly competent use of computers and office software packages
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian

• Experience with UN, UNDP or international development organizations
• Experience organizing events
• Donor financial-reporting experience
• Experience with ERP systems such as Quantum
