Job Description

Supports UNICEF Cambodia’s administrative operations through travel coordination, travel-record management and budget tracking. The national intern arranges conference and capacity-development logistics, coordinates participant and supplier details, prepares meeting materials and agendas, and gains practical administration experience under supervision in a multicultural UN environment.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Arrange travel and entitlements for section staff under organisational rules
  • Prepare travel-related notes verbales, letters, visa requests, diplomatic IDs and eUNLP applications
  • Coordinate protocol support for VIP and delegation visits
  • Maintain and verify travel-system records and travel-cost transactions
  • Prepare travel budgets and maintain travel-plan and budget-control records
  • Arrange logistics for capacity-development activities and conferences
  • Prepare participant materials, meeting agendas and event documentation

Role Requirements

  • Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • No immediate relatives working in a UNICEF office and no other relatives in the intern's reporting line
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Khmer
