Job Description

Supports reception, conference-centre and administrative operations at IATA’s Montreal office. The intern assists employees, visitors and clients, manages room and catering requests, supports meetings and workplace projects, and compiles operational information for the Administration team.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide reception customer service to employees, visitors and clients
  • Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls appropriately
  • Manage conference-room reservations and catering requests in the Event Management System
  • Support meeting-room logistics and audiovisual requirements
  • Prepare, set up and service catering requests in conference and employee spaces
  • Compile operational data and statistics for reporting
  • Provide administrative support for office services, events and workplace projects
  • Contribute to daily Administration team activities

Role Requirements

  • University degree completed within the last twelve months
  • Availability to start promptly and work full-time for at least six months
  • Availability to work onsite Monday to Friday
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Exposure to robotic process automation solutions
