Job Description

Support IOM Guinea's supply-chain operations by processing procurement requisitions, tenders, supplier agreements and payments; maintaining procurement records; tracking deliveries, contracts, supplies and utilities; supporting asset, warehouse and transport functions; and advising staff on procurement procedures while coordinating with finance, headquarters and administrative centres.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Consolidate procurement requisitions and verify required information
  • Prepare tender documents and bid-analysis summaries
  • Prepare purchase documentation and obtain required authorizations
  • Track requisitions and coordinate delivery confirmations
  • Review vendor invoices and coordinate supplier payments
  • Maintain procurement-cycle records and periodic reports
  • Conduct supplier market surveys and evaluations
  • Support asset, warehouse and transport management

Role Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, accounting, logistics, supply chain management or a related field with two years of relevant experience
  • Or high school diploma with four years of relevant professional experience
  • Fluency in French, oral and written

Desired Criteria

  • Certification in procurement, logistics or supply chain management
  • Experience with IOM or UN procurement and logistics rules
  • Working knowledge of English
  • Local language
