Job Description
Supports IOM Ukraine’s Migration and Border Governance programme through project coordination, research, budget monitoring and liaison. The specialist compiles governance and EU-alignment information, works with experts, supports procurement and reporting, organises events and training, and provides Ukrainian-English interpretation, translation and correspondence to help projects deliver results.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of MBG programme activities
- Compile and analyse migration, border-governance, customs and EU-alignment information
- Monitor budgets and propose adjustments to project teams
- Coordinate administrative and logistics actions with IOM units and state agencies
- Liaise with EU technical experts and the Supply Chain Unit
- Draft project status reports, correspondence, briefings, graphics and statistical tables
- Organise meetings, workshops, events and training sessions
- Provide Ukrainian-English interpretation and translation and maintain project records
Role Requirements
- High school diploma with six years of relevant work experience, or bachelor’s degree in listed related fields with four years
- Fluency in English and Ukrainian
Desired Criteria
- Prior work in international, governmental or non-government organisations in a multicultural setting is an advantage

- Travel in Ukraine and abroad may be required for project meetings, study visits, delegations and training
