Job Description
Coordinates pre-departure case management for migrants using IOM’s Voluntary Humanitarian Return programme in Libya. The role verifies travel readiness and documentation, organises visa and clearance steps, allocates cases to flights, supervises beneficiary communication and orientation, records movements, and maintains complete files to enable safe, orderly departures and later reintegration.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate receipt and readiness review of travel-ready cases
- Coordinate travel-document and exit-visa requirements with relevant authorities
- Categorise travel-ready cases and assign them to appropriate flights
- Compile flight manifests and hand over finalised documents for flight planning
- Supervise beneficiary communication and pre-departure orientation
- Record movements in MiMOSA and maintain pre-departure documentation
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, Development Studies, Human Rights, International Relations, Law or a related field with four years of relevant professional experience, or a high school diploma with at least six years of relevant working experience
- Fluency in one of IOM’s official languages: English, French or Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Previous working experience with NGOs or international organizations
