Job Description

Supports the administrative, logistical and operational delivery of IOM labour-migration and social-inclusion projects in Ethiopia. The associate coordinates activity logistics, travel, procurement and documentation, maintains project records and trackers, and follows up actions with finance, logistics and programme teams. The role helps keep training, assessments, missions and related project activities on schedule.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support operational implementation of LMI projects
  • Arrange logistics for trainings, workshops and field missions
  • Process travel, purchase and payment requests
  • Maintain project files and procurement tracking
  • Follow up administrative actions with internal units
  • Support procurement and logistics requests
  • Maintain activity, expenditure and deliverable trackers
  • Support documentation for consultant missions

Role Requirements

  • High school diploma with four years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with two years
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, oral and written

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with travel, procurement, finance or operational support
  • Experience in international or governmental project implementation
  • Knowledge of another national language
