Job Description

Manages resource-management functions for IOM projects, supporting the planning, implementation and monitoring of activities. The role analyses project data, monitors budgets and administrative actions, prepares operational reporting, and coordinates with authorities, partners, donors and UN agencies. It also helps strengthen project procedures and supports the work of unit personnel.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, implement and monitor project activities
  • Analyse project information and present issues for decision-making
  • Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments
  • Coordinate administrative actions and required clearances
  • Prepare status reports, correspondence and project documentation
  • Organise workshops and support capacity-building delivery
  • Liaise with authorities, partners, donors and UN agencies
  • Guide and monitor unit staff

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with four years of relevant professional experience, or high school diploma with six years
  • Fluency in Spanish, oral and written

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with international humanitarian, non-governmental or government institutions in a multicultural setting
