Job Description
Support the Climate Mobility Innovation Lab's Mediterranean project portfolio in Rome through project operations, financial monitoring and administrative coordination. The Project Associate tracks budgets and expenditures, prepares reports and documentation, follows internal workflows and procurement needs, and helps ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of programme activities under IOM financial rules and donor requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support project operations and administrative and financial monitoring
- Compile, analyse and present financial information for project needs
- Monitor budgets, verify fund availability and update budget information
- Coordinate administrative actions, clearances and follow-up with internal and external counterparts
- Prepare reports, correspondence, briefing materials and records and support internal workflows including procurement
Role Requirements
- High school diploma with five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field with three years
- Fluency in English and Italian, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Prior experience in an international or multicultural environment is an advantage
- Familiarity with IOM or UN financial rules, including IPSAS, is an advantage
- Working knowledge of other IOM official languages is an advantage
