Job Description
Reconciles IOM USRAP travel-loan accounts in Washington, matching bank activity to programme systems and resolving discrepancies. The associate manages receivables, disputes, settlements and audit records while applying U.S. financial regulations, data-protection rules and protection-mainstreaming standards.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly bank and accounts-receivable reconciliations
- Match bank transactions to Collect! and verify WAVE reports
- Investigate variances, returned payments, overpayments and timing differences
- Support settlements, payment arrangements, loan cancellations and credit-bureau actions
- Manage debt disputes and prepare documented responses
- Maintain audit evidence, e-filing records and reconciliation procedures
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience, or secondary education with at least six years
- At least two years each in office management, accounting or bookkeeping, and billing and collections
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Fair Debt Collection Practices Act certification
- Working knowledge of another official United Nations language
