Overview
Supports due diligence and financial oversight for IOM implementing partners and grant recipients. The associate assesses organisational systems, reviews budgets, procurement and expenditure, maintains agreement records, tracks fund flows and provides partners with findings that strengthen compliance and donor reporting.

Responsibilities
- Assess prospective partners’ governance, procurement, accounting, treasury and human-resources systems
- Conduct monitoring visits and report programme, governance and internal-control observations
- Review partner project and budget proposals for reasonableness and market alignment
- Track partner expenditure, budgets, cash-flow projections and grant transfers
- Verify financial reports, supporting documents and expenditure eligibility
- Review partner procurement against IOM rules and mission instructions
- Maintain agreements, approved budgets and financial tracking tools
- Translate documents from Arabic or Turkish into English when required
Requirements
- High-school diploma with six years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field with four years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of financial rules, grant-compliance procedures and donor-reporting requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written Turkish
- Fluency in spoken and written English
