Overview

Supports the IMF’s externally financed capacity-development portfolio through fundraising, partner relations and trust-fund oversight. The officer will manage proposals, donor reporting and budgets, support evaluations and results measurement, and strengthen partner visibility, communications and governance events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage fundraising for regional technical-assistance centres, thematic funds and bilateral initiatives
  • Develop relationships with existing donors and new external partners
  • Review project proposals and support reporting to external donors
  • Monitor budgets and manage periodic reports for externally financed funds
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries on technical-assistance policies and projects
  • Prepare for partner governance events including steering committees and annual discussions
  • Support external evaluations and improvements to capacity-development results measurement
  • Strengthen partner visibility through communications and outreach initiatives

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in business, finance, budgeting, accounting, statistics, computer science or a related field, or CPA or similar professional certification
  • Four years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of development-assistance trends and capacity-development issues
  • Ability to manage diverse activities and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent English drafting skills
