Overview
Support financial compliance for IOM projects funded by United States donors from Washington, D.C. The associate reviews reports, budgets and transactions, identifies noncompliance, monitors project finances, supports award close-out, guides field missions and produces analytical funding data and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Review donor financial reports for accuracy before certification and submission
- Guide field missions in preparing federal financial reports
- Perform spot checks and recommend actions to reduce disallowed-cost risks
- Review proposal budgets for donor and IOM compliance
- Monitor budgets, pipelines and financial aspects of funded projects
- Provide project-cycle financial and administrative guidance
- Compile charts, trends and statistics on United States funding
- Support award close-out, filing and revision of financial guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field plus three years of relevant experience, or high school diploma plus five years
- Fluent oral and written English
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports
- Knowledge of administrative, budgetary and financial rules and practices
