Job Description
Supports IOM’s US Refugee Admissions Program travel-loan collections work by contacting participants with outstanding accounts, documenting interactions, answering account enquiries and negotiating repayment arrangements. The associate applies debt-collection, confidentiality and safeguarding requirements while helping participants use the repayment portal and maintaining accurate account records

Summary of Responsibilities
- Contact participants with overdue travel-loan accounts
- Record contacts dispositions and notes in the system
- Respond to account enquiries by phone and email
- Negotiate payment arrangements and explain repayment options
- Prepare repayment letters and support portal registration
- Maintain confidential records and follow data-protection procedures
Role Requirements
- University degree with at least three years of relevant professional experience or high school diploma with at least five years
- Flency in English and Rohingya oral and written
- Valid residence and work permit for the United States
Desired Criteria
- Billing and collections experience
- USRAP Travel Loan Program experience
- Fair Debt Collection Practices Act knowledge
