Provides project administration and financial-management support for FAO's sustainable small-scale fisheries project in the Philippines. The assistant maintains financial records, supports procurement, payments, staffing documentation and budget monitoring, and coordinates operational arrangements with government, non-government counterparts and fisherfolk organisations to keep project activities and reporting on track.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate project financial records and prepare quarterly and annual reports
- Prepare and update the procurement plan, documents and quotation processes
- Support training, workshops and distributions with project counterparts and fisherfolk organisations
- Process requisitions, travel requests and operational cash-advance and petty-cash payments
- Maintain budget-monitoring systems and submit data for Budget Monitoring Reports
- Train project support staff to use GRMS and FPMIS
- Maintain administrative files, project inventory and human-resources documentation
- Update procurement, delivery and distribution schedules with the National Project Coordinator
Role Requirements
- University degree in administration, finance or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in project administration or operations
- Working knowledge of English
- Philippine nationality
