Job Description
WFP seeks a National Programme Officer in Aden to lead cash-based transfer and identity-management operations in Yemen. The officer will manage the CBT team, standardize procedures and beneficiary data controls, oversee financial-service providers and reconciliations, strengthen digital payment systems, and represent WFP in cash and social-protection coordination forums.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Country Office CBT team
- Standardize CBT business-process procedures and data controls
- Clear field-office distribution plans and beneficiary lists
- Oversee financial-service-provider reconciliations and compliance tracking
- Develop a financial-service-provider diversification strategy
- Coordinate identity-management policy and data-protection guidance
- Lead Cash and Market Working Group technical sessions and represent WFP externally
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a relevant field, or a first university degree with three additional years of related experience
- Seven years of relevant experience including three years in strategic design, implementation and technical evaluation of cash-based assistance
- Experience planning and implementing safety-net or emergency-response operations in developing countries or complex emergency settings
- Fluency in written and oral English and Arabic

- Experience establishing standard operating procedures with financial service providers
- Experience managing identity-management database transfers
