Programme Policy Officer (Resilience)

Leads WFP Yemen’s resilience and livelihoods programming in Aden. The Officer guides design and quality assurance, coordinates government engagement and institutional strengthening, manages partner performance and field monitoring, uses evidence to improve delivery, supports planning and donor reporting, mitigates risks, and mentors teams to advance climate-adaptive community resilience.

• Guide resilience programme design and implementation
• Engage government and strengthen institutional systems
• Oversee partner performance and technical quality
• Conduct field monitoring and identify corrective actions
• Use evidence and learning to improve programme delivery
• Support donor reporting and strategic planning
• Supervise and mentor programme staff

• Advanced degree in agriculture, natural resource management, environmental science, climate change, rural development, economics, food security or related field
• 7 years of relevant resilience, livelihoods, rural-development, climate-adaptation or food-security experience
• English fluency
