Job Description
WFP seeks a national Programme Policy Officer to support cash-based-transfer delivery in Yemen. Summary of Responsibilities
- Support design and deployment of cash-based-transfer interventions
- Provide technical backstopping to field and sub-offices
- Track transactions and fund releases in WINGS
- Lead monthly financial-service-provider reconciliation
- Validate beneficiary distribution lists and pipeline data
- Coordinate monitoring missions and CBT working-group sessions
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in international affairs, economics, public health, agriculture, environmental science, social sciences or a related humanitarian field
- Five years of humanitarian-sector experience including one year of professional experience in cash-based-transfer programmes
- Fluency in written and oral English and Arabic
Desired Criteria
- Experience establishing SOPs with private banks or financial service providers
- Experience in developing countries or fragile states
- Resilience for travel to remote and high-risk environments
