Summary of Responsibilities
- Analyze political, socio-economic, population and health contexts for UNFPA interventions
- Design sexual and reproductive health and population-and-development projects
- Guide programme implementation, delivery and coordination meetings
- Monitor programme bottlenecks, expenditures and disbursements
- Engage strategic partners, consultants and national counterparts
- Support research, evidence-based advocacy and resource mobilization
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in social sciences, law, public policy, public administration or a related field
- Progressively relevant experience in project coordination or research within UNFPA mandate areas
- Specialized knowledge of development policies and population-related activities
- Advanced computer skills
- Fluency in Spanish
- Working knowledge of English
