Job Description
Provides leadership for WFP Yemen’s school-feeding portfolio in Aden. The consultant guides shock-responsive home-grown school feeding and healthy kitchens, designs transition arrangements with the Ministry of Education, strengthens procurement and quality standards, develops investment cases and financing options, coordinates stakeholders, and builds capacity for sustainable programme handover.

- Lead school-feeding portfolio transition and scale-up
- Guide home-grown school-feeding and healthy-kitchen models
- Develop national handover and fiscal transition roadmaps
- Strengthen local procurement and quality-control standards
- Develop investment cases and innovative financing streams
- Coordinate ministries and global coalition commitments
- Build capacity of government and WFP staff
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in social protection, public policy, education, nutrition, food systems, international development, public health, economics or related field
- At least 7 years of progressive school-feeding or social-protection experience
- English fluency
Desired Criteria
- Experience with SCOPE, beneficiary registration systems, data cleanup exercises, and vulnerability targeting methodologies is highly desirable
