Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage DTM emergency tracking and monitoring of internally displaced people and returnees
- Develop flow monitoring, site assessments and information-gathering systems under the DTM framework
- Produce analysis, reports, guidelines and information outputs for government and humanitarian partners
- Coordinate field enumeration, database and GIS operations for displacement-data mapping
- Design thematic assessments and surveys and promote their use by stakeholders
- Integrate data-protection principles and ethical data use into DTM information management
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science, social sciences, information management or a related field with five years of relevant experience
- University degree in those fields with seven years of relevant experience
- Experience in project development, management, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in information management or disaster-risk management
- Experience in emergency response, humanitarian assistance and early recovery
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Population-database experience is a distinct advantage
- Regional experience is an asset
