Job Description

Drives the design, implementation and evaluation of UNFPA sexual and reproductive health interventions in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Programme Analyst leads results-based management for an FCDO-funded SRH project, works with health authorities and partners, strengthens institutional capacity, and turns evidence into policy, planning, monitoring and high-quality health outcomes.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting for the integrated SRH project
  • Provide technical leadership with health authorities, NGOs and partners
  • Design annual workplans and operational plans for implementing partners
  • Analyse political, social and health systems dynamics for SRHR interventions
  • Oversee delivery, donor compliance and institutional capacity building
  • Lead data collection, performance tracking and analytical reporting

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in public health, medicine, social sciences or a related field
  • Professional experience in sexual and reproductive health programming
  • Fluency in French
