Programme Analyst (Resilience and Climate Change)

UN-Habitat seeks a Programme Analyst to support urban resilience, climate change and sustainable urban-development activities in Brazil. Reporting to the Head of the Brazil Office, the consultant will coordinate project delivery, engage stakeholders, prepare technical outputs and strengthen local capacity. The 12-month Local ICA assignment is open to Brazilian nationals and permanent visa holders.

• Support urban-resilience, climate-change and sustainable-urban-development project activities
• Prepare technical analyses, reports and project documentation
• Coordinate engagement with government, civil-society, academic and private-sector stakeholders
• Support monitoring, reporting and delivery of project outputs
• Contribute to knowledge products, capacity-building activities and communication materials

• Bachelor degree in Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, Environmental Engineering, Law, Social Science or a related field, or three additional years of relevant experience
• At least four years of experience in sustainable development, urban development or resilience-related projects in Brazil
• Fluency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English
• Brazilian nationality or a permanent visa in Brazil
