Procurement and Logistics OfficerNew

IOM seeks a Procurement and Logistics Officer to lead procurement, contract, asset and inventory functions for its Chuuk Sub Office. The post coordinates sourcing, purchase-order delivery and supplier performance, advises project teams and ensures compliance with IOM procedures. It maintains supplier and inventory records, supervises procurement and logistics personnel, reports operational.

• Coordinate procurement actions and higher-level reviews with the Manila Administrative Centre
• Monitor purchase orders and delivery processes and keep project managers informed
• Maintain vendor accreditation and performance records for reliable service providers
• Coordinate contract administration, supplier performance and contract amendments
• Monitor asset and inventory management and maintain procurement filing systems
• Supervise procurement, logistics, warehouse and asset-management staff

• Master’s degree in procurement, logistics, supply chain management or related field with two years of experience, or university degree with four years
• Fluency in English
• Experience managing procurement and logistics operations
• Previous experience working with USG projects or programmes
• Open only to current and former IOM staff separated during the last 12 months due to structural adjustment

• Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Experience working in the Pacific
• Experience in procurement reconstruction projects
