Job Description
IOM seeks a Procurement and Logistics Officer to lead procurement, contract, asset and inventory functions for its Chuuk Sub Office. The post coordinates sourcing, purchase-order delivery and supplier performance, advises project teams and ensures compliance with IOM procedures. It maintains supplier and inventory records, supervises procurement and logistics personnel, reports operational.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement actions and higher-level reviews with the Manila Administrative Centre
- Monitor purchase orders and delivery processes and keep project managers informed
- Maintain vendor accreditation and performance records for reliable service providers
- Coordinate contract administration, supplier performance and contract amendments
- Monitor asset and inventory management and maintain procurement filing systems
- Supervise procurement, logistics, warehouse and asset-management staff
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in procurement, logistics, supply chain management or related field with two years of experience, or university degree with four years
- Fluency in English
- Experience managing procurement and logistics operations
- Previous experience working with USG projects or programmes
- Open only to current and former IOM staff separated during the last 12 months due to structural adjustment
Desired Criteria
- Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Experience working in the Pacific
- Experience in procurement reconstruction projects
