Job Description
Supports the management and operation of the United Nations Common Premises in Dhaka by delivering transparent procurement, logistics and facilities services. The role works with IOM, UN agencies, suppliers and the building management committee to maintain common services, premises, assets, contracts and financial controls, while supporting reliable delivery for all resident agencies.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Consolidate procurement requisitions and verify compliance with IOM purchase-authorisation requirements
- Prepare tender documents, solicit bids and support bid analysis and evaluations
- Prepare purchase documentation and secure required authorisations after supplier selection
- Monitor requisitions, deliveries, invoices and supplier payments
- Inspect incoming supplies, equipment and furniture and support inventory verification
- Manage common-premises services, maintenance, repairs and space-related logistics
- Support premises budgets, expense reports and outsourced-service monitoring
- Maintain procurement and common-premises filing systems
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with three years of relevant professional experience, or a high school diploma with five years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in procurement and logistics and working with vendors and service providers
- Experience with asset management processes
- Fluency in English and Bengali
Desired Criteria
- Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Experience with UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures
- Experience working in an international organization
- Experience in office administration and building or facility management
- Knowledge of SAP and Oracle
