Supports UNDP’s Vaka Pasifika project in Palau by developing accessible stories about public financial management and accountability. The UN Volunteer researches story themes, gathers evidence, engages stakeholders and coordinates interviews, turns technical material into clear narratives, verifies information and prepares approved content for final publication.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research public-finance themes and practical Pacific experiences
- Develop a workplan for researching and producing PFM stories
- Gather background information, data and evidence for story development
- Plan interviews and document stakeholder perspectives
- Draft stories and communication content from verified information
- Compile approved stories for publication and dissemination
Role Requirements
- Ability to research and translate information into accessible content
- Experience with interviews, consultations or stakeholder engagement
- Writing and editing skills for non-technical audiences
- Ability to fact-check and present information accurately
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of governance, accountability or Pacific priorities
- Experience with Pacific institutions or development partners
