Communications Operations Assistant

Supports UNICEF Honduras' Communications Unit by coordinating procurement, contract follow-up, budget monitoring and visibility activities. The assignment helps the team deliver communication products, events and digital content on time, while maintaining accurate records and supplier coordination that strengthen public advocacy and programme visibility for children.

• Prepare terms of reference, technical specifications and procurement documentation for communication services
• Coordinate procurement and administrative follow-up for communication activities and products
• Monitor contracts, purchase orders, deliverables and timelines for communication service providers
• Maintain procurement, contract and service-agreement records and tracking tools
• Support planning, procurement, production and distribution of visibility and branding materials
• Track communication expenditures and support budget monitoring and reporting
• Support communication for events, campaigns, field visits and visibility initiatives
• Document programme results and impact stories for UNICEF visibility and advocacy

• At least 3 years of experience developing communication content for multiple platforms and audiences
• At least 3 years of experience supporting administrative, procurement or contract-management processes
• At least 3 years of experience drafting terms of reference, technical specifications and procurement documentation
• Excellent written and verbal Spanish communication skills
• English is required

• Working knowledge of English is an asset
• Familiarity with communication, design and digital content-management tools is desirable
