Digital Communication Associate

Supports UNICEF Ukraine's Communication Section with planning, producing, publishing and monitoring audience-focused digital content. The assignment develops social storytelling, campaigns and community engagement across web and social channels, while using performance insights and collaboration with creators, field offices and partners to strengthen advocacy for children affected by war.

• Draft, edit and adapt content for UNICEF Ukraine's digital platforms
• Develop social-media copy, captions, scripts and headlines for different audiences and platforms
• Prepare creative briefs and coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers and content creators
• Create simple graphics using Canva
• Manage publication and scheduling for Facebook and YouTube content
• Support digital communication campaigns for children's rights, advocacy priorities and emergency response
• Identify digital storytelling opportunities and content ideas to strengthen audience engagement
• Monitor digital-content performance and audience metrics, reporting recommendations for optimisation

• Excellent written Ukrainian skills
• Ability to write in English
• Demonstrated experience developing, writing, editing and adapting content for social media and digital platforms
• Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications, email and internet

• Two years of experience in copywriting, social-media management, digital communications or content creation is desirable
• Familiarity with website content-management systems and web publishing is an asset
• Interest in child rights, volunteerism and the UN system
