Job Description

Supports WFP El Salvador’s partnerships and resource-mobilisation work by researching strategic partners, tracking private-sector and ESG trends, and maintaining funding-opportunity intelligence. The internship helps prepare company profiles, concept notes and proposals, while coordinating information for meetings, events and internal positioning materials that strengthen engagement with partners.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyse prospective strategic partners, including companies, foundations and business associations
  • Research and map private-sector actors, corporate social responsibility trends, sustainability and ESG criteria
  • Update partner databases, alliance maps and funding-opportunity tracking tools
  • Prepare company profiles, concept notes, presentations, fact sheets and institutional materials for partner meetings
  • Support proposals and background documents for resource-mobilisation and partnership initiatives
  • Track the partnerships pipeline and funding opportunities to keep decision-making information current
  • Help organise meetings, events, visits and relationship-building activities with private-sector and strategic partners
  • Coordinate with technical units to gather information for proposals, reports and positioning materials

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university student or recent graduate, preferably within the last 12 months, in international relations, business administration, economics, political science, international development, communications, marketing or a related discipline
  • Advanced level of English

Desired Criteria

  • Previous experience through internships, volunteering, student associations or research projects
  • Demonstrated interest in international development, strategic partnerships, sustainability, corporate social responsibility or resource mobilisation
  • Experience in research, information analysis, presentation preparation or activity coordination
