Summary of Responsibilities

  • Advise on development and implementation of the UN Partnership Strategy
  • Coordinate partnership engagement with government, private sector and civil society
  • Identify partnership risks and opportunities and support due diligence
  • Develop resource-mobilisation strategies and monitor funding partnerships
  • Support pooled-fund management and Cooperation Framework financing
  • Maintain knowledge on donors, partnership models and resource-mobilisation practice

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in business or public administration, international relations, sustainable development, social sciences, economics or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in partnerships, project or programme management, resource mobilisation or development cooperation
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships with UN, government, private-sector or civil-society stakeholders
  • Experience designing and implementing partnerships
  • Experience developing resource-mobilisation strategies
  • Experience preparing project or programme proposals
  • English proficiency
  • Open to nationals of Jamaica only

Desired Criteria

  • Experience promoting gender equality, youth participation and disability inclusion
  • Experience in UN interagency coordination
  • Experience promoting knowledge management in development cooperation
  • Experience supporting financing for the Sustainable Development Goals
  • Experience in data analytics or a related area
