Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise on development and implementation of the UN Partnership Strategy
- Coordinate partnership engagement with government, private sector and civil society
- Identify partnership risks and opportunities and support due diligence
- Develop resource-mobilisation strategies and monitor funding partnerships
- Support pooled-fund management and Cooperation Framework financing
- Maintain knowledge on donors, partnership models and resource-mobilisation practice
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in business or public administration, international relations, sustainable development, social sciences, economics or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in partnerships, project or programme management, resource mobilisation or development cooperation
- Experience developing strategic partnerships with UN, government, private-sector or civil-society stakeholders
- Experience designing and implementing partnerships
- Experience developing resource-mobilisation strategies
- Experience preparing project or programme proposals
- English proficiency
- Open to nationals of Jamaica only
Desired Criteria
- Experience promoting gender equality, youth participation and disability inclusion
- Experience in UN interagency coordination
- Experience promoting knowledge management in development cooperation
- Experience supporting financing for the Sustainable Development Goals
- Experience in data analytics or a related area
