Job Description

Advises the UN Resident Coordinator and Country Team in Tegucigalpa on strategic partnerships and resource mobilisation for Sustainable Development Goals. The officer implements partnership strategy, coordinates government, civil-society and private-sector engagement, builds value propositions, supports pooled funds and funding frameworks, mobilises resources and SDG financing, develops joint.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support UNCT partnership strategy implementation and monitoring
  • Coordinate engagement with government private sector civil society and UN entities
  • Identify partnership risks opportunities and mitigation measures
  • Develop resource mobilization strategies and funding framework inputs
  • Support joint programme design and pooled fund management
  • Research and share partnership and resource-mobilisation practices

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in business or public administration sustainable development social sciences education or related area
  • At least five years of experience in strategic partnerships project or programme management or resource mobilization
  • Experience developing partnerships across government private sector and civil society
  • Experience designing partnerships resource mobilization strategies and project proposals
  • English and Spanish are required
  • Open to nationals of Honduras only
