Summary of Responsibilities
- Assess facilities to determine construction and rehabilitation needs
- Develop blueprints and technical project requirements
- Define construction resources, materials, budgets and workplans
- Support tenders, local materials procurement and construction permits
- Supervise construction progress and quality against specifications
- Monitor budget expenditure, stock and warehouse inventory
- Report works progress and technical issues through emergency operations reports
Role Requirements
- First university degree in technical engineering, architecture, construction, technical logistics or related field
- At least five years of experience in emergency humanitarian health, WASH or logistics operations
- Expert knowledge of English, French or Portuguese
Desired Criteria
- Humanitarian training or construction certification
- Experience with WHO, UN system or humanitarian organisations
