Responsibilities
- Define project logistics activities with the Project Coordinator and medical teams
- Monitor construction, transport, communications, WASH, fleet and infrastructure activities
- Ensure compliance with MSF standards and procedures
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicle and generator fleets
- Plan and execute construction and rehabilitation activities
- Implement planned water and sanitation activities
- Brief project staff on communication tools
- Manage logistics administration and HR processes for logistics staff
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent professional experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related technical field
- Experience training, coaching and supervising technical staff and contractors
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams
- Experience working in an international and culturally diverse environment
- Good command of English and French at minimum B1 level
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work in unstable and insecure environments
- Availability for a minimum commitment of 12 months
