Technical Logistics Manager

Plans, coordinates and monitors technical logistics in MSF project areas, covering construction, transport, communications, WASH, fleet, equipment and security.

• Define project logistics activities with the Project Coordinator and medical teams
• Monitor construction, transport, communications, WASH, fleet and infrastructure activities
• Ensure compliance with MSF standards and procedures
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicle and generator fleets
• Plan and execute construction and rehabilitation activities
• Implement planned water and sanitation activities
• Brief project staff on communication tools
• Manage logistics administration and HR processes for logistics staff

• Diploma or equivalent professional experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related technical field
• Experience training, coaching and supervising technical staff and contractors
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams
• Experience working in an international and culturally diverse environment
• Good command of English and French at minimum B1 level
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work in unstable and insecure environments
• Availability for a minimum commitment of 12 months

• Experience managing technical infrastructure is an asset
• Experience with construction planning, maintenance management or technical drawing software is an asset
• Electrical installations, generators, solar power or electrical maintenance experience is a strong asset
• Spreadsheet skills are an asset
• NGO experience abroad is desirable
