Senior Program Manager - Engineering Operations

Leads engineering operations, capital planning and facilities projects for the World Bank Group’s Washington headquarters portfolio. The manager directs services, contracts, budgets and technical teams, oversees HVAC and building systems, improves project delivery and sustainability, and partners with internal clients to provide safe, efficient facilities and engineering solutions.

• Lead engineering operations and capital planning
• Manage engineering-services and design-service contracts
• Oversee budgets and release funding after project completion
• Develop procurement strategies for construction and engineering services
• Manage utility and energy services
• Coordinate with internal clients on engineering requirements
• Prioritise environment, health and safety issues
• Coordinate project schedules with other facilities teams

• Master’s degree in architecture, construction management, facilities management, engineering or related field, or combined education and eight years of relevant experience
• Experience managing large engineering operations budgets and multi-building portfolios
• Hands-on experience with large-scale HVAC systems and building-management platforms
