Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise governments and internal clients on private investment for sustainable infrastructure development
- Identify infrastructure opportunities and candidate projects for private-sector financing
- Support preparation, structuring, negotiation, closing and monitoring of investment and policy transactions
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis and structuring of commercial-financing solutions
- Develop marketing materials, documentation and knowledge products for MIGA guarantee solutions
- Assess project readiness, risk allocation, transaction design and implementation monitoring
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in finance, international business, public policy or a related field and minimum five years of relevant professional experience
- Background in investment and development banking with private-sector projects and governments
- Understanding of infrastructure policies, strategies and institutions
- Full understanding of financial modeling, project finance, structured finance and capital markets
- Excellent written and spoken English
Desired Criteria
- Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior staff and clients
- Ability to work flexibly across complex, evolving assignments
- Willingness and ability to travel
