Summary of Responsibilities

  • Advise governments and internal clients on private investment for sustainable infrastructure development
  • Identify infrastructure opportunities and candidate projects for private-sector financing
  • Support preparation, structuring, negotiation, closing and monitoring of investment and policy transactions
  • Conduct due diligence, financial analysis and structuring of commercial-financing solutions
  • Develop marketing materials, documentation and knowledge products for MIGA guarantee solutions
  • Assess project readiness, risk allocation, transaction design and implementation monitoring

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree in finance, international business, public policy or a related field and minimum five years of relevant professional experience
  • Background in investment and development banking with private-sector projects and governments
  • Understanding of infrastructure policies, strategies and institutions
  • Full understanding of financial modeling, project finance, structured finance and capital markets
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Desired Criteria

  • Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior staff and clients
  • Ability to work flexibly across complex, evolving assignments
  • Willingness and ability to travel
