Supports MIGA Korea and the Asia team by developing business opportunities, maintaining client relationships and contributing to guarantee underwriting. The analyst researches sectors and investors, assesses companies and projects, prepares decision materials, coordinates counterparties and tracks transactions, combining business development with financial modelling and credit-analysis support.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Research sectors, regions, companies and foreign-direct-investment trends to identify business opportunities
  • Collect, analyse and synthesize public and World Bank Group data for business development and project assessment
  • Prepare presentations, pitchbooks, briefing notes and financial analysis for MIGA Korea and Asia teams
  • Maintain project leads and client lists and report from the client management system
  • Assist guarantee underwriting through financial modelling, credit analysis and underwriting papers
  • Coordinate data-quality follow-up with sponsors, financiers and public-sector counterparties
  • Track projects in MIGA systems and maintain sector-initiative databases and reporting

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field and at least three years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in project or export finance, investment banking, corporate finance or investment-related work
  • Excellent Excel knowledge and ability to develop complex financial models
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills in corporate and project finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
