Develops a proposal to align Guatemala’s National Strategy for Addressing and Transforming Conflict with the Conflict Care Guide. The national consultant compares both instruments, identifies gaps, prepares a traceability matrix and recommended adjustments, integrates gender equality, women’s rights and intercultural approaches, and coordinates technical review with COPRECON and UN Women.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare a workplan and methodology for the technical harmonisation analysis
- Compare the National Strategy and Conflict Care Guide
- Identify correspondences, gaps and opportunities for technical alignment
- Prepare a traceability matrix with recommended adjustments and justifications
- Integrate gender equality, women’s rights and intercultural approaches
- Systematise observations and agreements from technical meetings
- Present a consolidated technical harmonisation proposal
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, legal and social sciences or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in democratic governance, conflict prevention and transformation, dialogue, mediation or institutional strengthening
