Job Description
Designs and supports a UN Women advocacy campaign that advances women’s meaningful participation in peace talks in Sudan. The consultant will lead participatory planning with women-led organisations, consolidate campaign design and messages, align advocacy and media outputs, assess political and security risks, and prepare an adaptable campaign plan for implementation.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Design and support a participatory advocacy campaign on women’s meaningful participation in peace talks
- Conduct a desk review and context analysis on women’s participation in peace processes
- Prepare a three-day workshop schedule and training materials for women-led organisations
- Consolidate campaign objectives, messages and materials for different target audiences
- Coordinate advocacy content with media and visibility outputs
- Identify political, security and reputational risks and propose do-no-harm mitigation measures
- Prepare a comprehensive campaign plan and adaptable approaches for implementation
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Communications, Advocacy, Gender Studies, Peacebuilding, Political Science or a related field
- At least seven years of relevant experience in advocacy campaign design and coordination
- Demonstrated experience working with women's organisations and civil-society actors
Desired Criteria
- Experience in fragile or conflict-affected contexts is preferred

- Technical proposal of up to 15 pages is required
- Submit a UN Women Personal History Form, CV and technical proposal
- Evaluation uses cumulative analysis with 70% technical and 30% financial weighting
