Facilitación Metodológica para la Construcción de una Política Institucional de Igualdad de Género

This UN Women individual consultancy will develop and validate a gender equality policy for Guatemala's Ministry of Governance and its dependencies. The consultant will analyse institutional evidence and gender gaps, facilitate consultations, build a results-based implementation framework, and deliver validated policy documents, monitoring arrangements and a final institutional proposal.

• Develop and validate a participatory methodology for the institutional gender equality policy proposal
• Review the Ministry of Governance programme network and relevant technical and institutional documentation
• Identify gender gaps, problem trees, capacities and institutional priorities and share recommendations with key actors
• Develop the policy structure, results-based implementation matrix and monitoring and evaluation mechanism
• Facilitate feedback and validation meetings with key Ministry dependencies
• Prepare, validate and present the final institutional policy proposal and compiled supporting documents
• Coordinate continuously with the Ministry Gender Unit and UN Women project leadership

• Guatemalan national or resident
• Bachelor's degree in political science, legal and social sciences, psychology, pedagogy, social work, sociology, history, anthropology or a related field
• At least three years advancing women's human rights and applying gender equality approaches in public institutions or international cooperation
• At least three years developing institutional monitoring, follow-up and public-management instruments
• Experience working with public institutions to develop public or institutional policies
