Job Description
Provides technical and programme support for UN Women's economic-empowerment and care-economy initiatives in Bolivia. The assistant implements, monitors and documents work that advances women's autonomy, care systems and social co-responsibility, integrating financial inclusion, productive development, food security and climate-resilient livelihoods with public institutions, partners and UN teams.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation of care and women's economic-empowerment initiatives
- Contribute to policies and mechanisms for social and public co-responsibility for care
- Support economic-autonomy interventions integrating financial inclusion, productive development and food security
- Collect and analyse quantitative, qualitative and policy information using gender and human-rights approaches
- Track programme activities, indicators, results, risks and recommendations
- Prepare technical notes, terms of reference, reports, presentations and accountability products
- Coordinate technically with public institutions, women's organisations, implementing partners and UN agencies
Role Requirements
- Completed secondary education
- At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in administration and financial management of programmes or projects
- At least two years in women's economic empowerment, development programme support, public policy or gender
- Experience monitoring activities, organising and analysing information, and preparing technical documents or reports
- Knowledge of gender equality, human rights and results-based management
- Fluent Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Degree in economics, social sciences, development, public policy, commercial engineering, agronomy or a related field
- Experience or training in care policies, systems or services
- Experience in financial inclusion, productive development, food security, climate adaptation or resilient livelihoods
- Working knowledge of English
- Knowledge of an official indigenous language of Bolivia
