Job Description
Provides technical advice to UNICEF and the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood on youth empowerment and the SDG club and ambassadors initiative. This home-based national consultancy strengthens children’s and adolescents’ participation in advocacy for the Sustainable Development Goals, supports collaboration with government partners, and contributes to UAE programme priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice to the SDG club and ambassadors initiative
- Support efforts to strengthen children’s and adolescents’ role in advocacy
- Advance national efforts towards the Sustainable Development Goals
- Collaborate with UNICEF and SCMC under the Annual Work Plan
- Engage government partners and adolescents through communication and presentation support
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in social sciences or an equivalent field
- More than five years of experience in child rights, SDG promotion and training young people
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Valid residence permission in the United Arab Emirates
Desired Criteria
- Previous work with government sector or UN agencies
- Exposure to the Arab or Gulf region
