Job Description
Develops and delivers a child-protection hotline training assignment for the Lao Youth Union, strengthening staff capacity to support children and young people. The consultant prepares a training package and materials, runs training in Vientiane, and translates available guidance and good practice into practical tools for frontline hotline personnel and service delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop a training package and facilitator's guide for the Child Protection LYU Hotline
- Review hotline guidelines, social and behavioural change materials, life-skills materials and international good practices
- Conduct Vientiane training for Lao Youth Union staff using the developed training package
- Develop short videos with UNICEF's contracted production company
- Prepare a one-page FAQ to support Lao Youth Union hotline staff
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in social work, psychology, education, development studies, international relations or a related field
- At least five years of experience in child protection, policy development or programme planning
- Experience counselling or advising youth on child protection and hotline services
- Experience designing and conducting training programmes and developing training materials
- Excellent Lao and English communication and report-writing skills
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with child-protection systems and referral mechanisms in Lao PDR
