Job Description
Provides technical guidance to UNICEF Belarus and Belstat for planning, implementing and completing the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey. The consultant strengthens survey design, data collection, analysis and reporting, helping generate reliable evidence for national monitoring and decision-making while supporting large-scale household-survey coordination.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide guidance for preparation, implementation and completion of the MICS survey
- Coordinate large-scale household surveys and statistical data-collection exercises
- Analyse survey data and prepare survey reports
- Apply survey methodologies, administrative-data systems and official-statistics knowledge
- Synthesize data and evidence from multiple sources
- Support UNICEF Belarus and Belstat on MICS implementation
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Demography, Development Studies, International Relations, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Data Science or a related field, or two additional years of relevant experience after a bachelor’s degree when exceptionally approved
- At least 8 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, statistics, data analysis, research, information management or official statistics
- Fluency in Russian
Desired Criteria
- Experience conducting or coordinating household surveys or other large-scale statistical surveys
- Experience providing technical expertise and support for MICS
- Working knowledge of English
