National Consultant - Vaccine Data Monitoring and Evaluation, WHO Country Office, Vientiane, Lao PDR

The National Consultant supports WHO Lao PDR’s bOPV vaccination campaign through monitoring, readiness assessment, campaign supervision and verification. The role analyses coverage data, supports immunisation partners and prepares evaluation reporting. It requires a relevant degree, two years of data experience, fluent Lao and strong English, and is an onsite six-month consultancy in Vientiane.

• Finalise bOPV monitoring tools and conduct readiness assessments
• Conduct real-time monitoring and analyse daily coverage data
• Prepare written feedback for immunisation teams
• Conduct post-campaign coverage assessment and analyse data
• Prepare data harmonisation inputs and technical updates
• Produce monitoring and evaluation reports

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, public health or a related field, or equivalent professional training
• At least two years of programme data-management experience
• Fluent Lao and high competency in reading, written and spoken English

• Master’s degree in computer science, public health or a related field
