Job Description
Supports WHO Viet Nam and the Ministry of Health to assess school health equipment and medicines and develop an evidence-based minimum package for educational institutions. The part-time national consultant reviews policies, service functions, evidence and current practice; assesses availability, safety and gaps; develops setting-specific recommendations and safe-use requirements; consults.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review national policies regulations treatment guidance and evidence
- Assess school health unit functions services personnel and referrals
- Assess availability safe management and gaps in medicines and equipment
- Develop minimum package of equipment and medicines for educational institutions
- Define safe-use procurement storage expiry management maintenance and documentation requirements
- Consult stakeholders and finalize technical recommendations
Role Requirements
- University degree in medicine public health health system or related field
- At least five years in school health child health public health or health systems
- Technical assessment and policy-development experience
- Excellent Vietnamese report writing and good working English
Desired Criteria
- Master degree in medicine public health health system or related field
- Viet Nam health-system and school-health-services knowledge
- School-health policy and regulatory-framework knowledge
- Ministry of Health Ministry of Education or stakeholder collaboration
- WHO UN-agency or international-organization experience
