National Immunization Supply Chain Consultant

Provides time-bound technical assistance to Lao PDR’s National Immunization Programme to strengthen vaccine management, logistics systems and campaign supply-chain readiness. The office-based consultant supports outbreak preparedness, monitoring, supervision and capacity building, applying national and provincial immunisation-supply-chain experience to improve measurable programme outputs.

• Provide technical assistance to the National Immunization Programme
• Strengthen vaccine management and logistics information systems
• Improve campaign supply-chain readiness and outbreak preparedness
• Support monitoring and supervision of immunisation supply-chain activities
• Deliver innovative capacity-building initiatives with defined measurable outputs

• Bachelor's degree in medicine, public health or a related field
• Five to seven years of experience in immunization supply chain and Effective Vaccine Management at national or provincial level
• Proficiency in English and Lao
• Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team and meet deadlines

• Advanced degree in public health
• Hands-on experience conducting or leading Effective Vaccine Management training and assessment
• Familiarity with the Lao PDR health-system context
• Previous experience working with the Ministry of Health or in the development sector
