Job Description

Supports UN Human Rights Moldova to make education more inclusive and human-rights based for marginalised learners. The national consultant develops school tools and policies, trains and coaches educators, builds resources and supports curriculum reforms that advance equality, non-discrimination and participation.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop and pilot human-rights environment evaluation tools
  • Support inclusive school action plans and internal policy reviews
  • Train and coach teachers and school administrators
  • Develop educational resources and practical toolkits
  • Deliver training-of-trainers on human rights education
  • Support cascade training for education specialists
  • Mainstream equality and inclusion in curriculum reform

Role Requirements

  • First degree in education, psychology, social work, international relations or a relevant field
  • At least five years of experience in pedagogy, psychology, inclusive education or a related field
  • Proven experience designing and delivering inclusive-education training programmes
  • Proven expertise in equality, inclusion and work with marginalised groups
  • Fluency in Romanian

Desired Criteria

  • Working knowledge of Russian
  • Experience coaching teachers and developing initial professional training programmes
